Bonobos is seeking a Technical Designer to help us continue our goal to be a fit solution for men

As a Technical Designer you will work closely with the Technical Design Manager to conduct fittings, measure samples, recommend construction and specs to achieve the best fitting (and best quality) product in the market. You'll work closely with our design team in developing tech packs for initial samples and merchandising in executing those concepts into bulk production. You'll also partner with production to ensure quality is up to par and work closely with our vendors to ensure execution is perfect.

• Have a minimum of 5 years experience in a vertical retail environment
• Will have the expertise to troubleshoot fit issues
• Can exhibit a sense of urgency in managing time and accomplishing tasks
• Are detail oriented with a strong follow through and have the ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects
• Must be computer literate (excel, word, PLM etc)
• Are looking to join a team that is truly engaging, fulfilling, energetic, not-geriatric, quirky, sometimes whacky and always passionate

• Have expertise in pattern-making including grading, construction and fit for multiple or complex product
• Are a specialist in fit / knowledge of construction standards and manufacturing methods
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to interface regularly with senior/executive leadership
• Have proven computer skills (preferred programs: computer pattern programs, such as ADS, Gerber, Lectra, computer spec writing programs such as Gerber, PDM, Karat, email system i.e. Lotus Notes, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word)
